Photocatalysis and Energy Lab
Our group has made significant contributions in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. We focus on physical and chemical synthesis for design of optimal catalysts.
In the ever-expanding field of photocatalysis, our group places an emphasis on gaining a thorough understanding of the mechanisms involved in heterogeneous photocatalytic systems at the molecular level. Our approach combines the results of kinetic studies and photocatalyst characterization.
On July 22 and 26, a children's science summer camp was organized in the municipality of Guadalupe, at the Professor Israel Cavazos Garza Library and the Jesus Maria Treviño Library.
Last Wednesday July 17, 2024 a visit to the science museum was made by csoftmty, in which Dra. Diana Berenice was in charge of guiding the participants.
On June 5, 2024, the IV meeting of generations of the postgraduate program in materials engineering was organized at FIME, with the presence of Dr. Diana Berenice and other guests.

Several participants attended, among them Dra. Diana Hernandez, and the mayor of Guadalupe Cristina Diaz.
Last Wednesday, July 17, 2024, a visit to the science museum was made on behalf of csoftmty, in which Dra. Diana Berenice was in charge of guiding the participants.
The visit was due to a workshop that was being held at the FCFM during the whole week, learning different things about programming, science, mathematics, etc.
On June 5, 2024, the IV meeting of generations of the graduate program in materials engineering was organized at FIME, with the presence of Dr. Diana Berenice Hernández Uresti, M.C. José Martín Hernández Ramírez, M.C. Jaime Elihezer Valadez Ramos and Dr. Vladimir García Hernández.
All the guests shared various challenges and perspectives regarding the career, concluding the event with a round table in which the students showed their doubts and the guests answered them according to their experiences.
